Dec. 21st and Me..
Today is December 21st. I woke up this morning feeling the power of this new day. Every year I pay honor through mind and body for this one day, which allows earth to reconnect with its whole of creation. It may sound a bit new age, but in the context of seeing things with consciousness, this teaching is just as old as the earth itself.
The world of Indigenous people have stopped on this one day to give gratitude for existence and to perpetuate survival. I'm a living testimony to prove this belief true. All over the world today, ceremonies and celebrations are taking place to again acknowledge the earths transition, and its relationship to the sun. It signifies the power of transition, renewal, and gratitude.
I wish you the same. Stop for a moment today, and show gratitude for your life's existence.
Love and light-

What's new with Inspire. Motivate. Lead!
I am pleased to share you with the projects and updates which have allowed inspiration to flourish in the lives of young people across the country. Inspire. Motivate. Lead. (IML) was created to establish the need for demonstrative learning amongst the progress of youth and adults. By using self-empowerment tools, leadership education is being brought to a refreshing level allowing communities, reservations, and villages to clearly identify the power of cultural integrity, and solution-building life ways.
The fall of 2009, has been tremendously successful in the progress being made to bring invigorating mechanisms to Indian Country. This month, we highlight three communities who have had great improvements in youth ambition by initiating community building strategies as a result of Inspire. Motivate. Lead.
Ute Mountain Ute Nation, Towaoc, CO
Through the Vocational Rehabilitation Program, IML created an immense impact on students and adults with two installments of The INSPIRE Project, a graffiti education based program addressing the need for creative responsibility in Indian Country. Since the installment of The INSPIRE Project, vandalism has been transformed within the community skate park, giving youth the opportunity to understand the value of solution building through creative expression.
Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, Pendleton, OR
In partnership with the Behavioral Health Department, leadership training has been established within the schools of CTUIR adhering to the development of academic ambition. CTUIR has opened the conversations of progress through the Nixyaawii Community School by sharing Inspire. Motivate. Lead.’s mission to invigorate youth education.
Jicarilla Apache Nation, Workforce Development, Dulce, NM
IML created strategies for youth to fully engage themselves in the process of skill-building to initiate preparation for students to create consistencies amongst personal ambition choices. Over 100 youth participated in an extensive six hour session to prepare for summer involvement of vocational experience.
As you read, the effort to empower communities is creating more positive movements each day! We are excited to approach the end of 2009, with more initiatives underway. Please visit the website, and sign up for the newsletter to stay updated on how inspiration can create moving progress. We look forward to partnering with you soon!
Wishing you an abundance of inspiration to create positive movement!

Inspiring the Youth of the Southwest...
At the end of August IML launched the INSPIRE Project which focused on the progress of the Ute Mountain Ute Youth and address the responsibility of graffiti education in Indian Country. This week long journey for the youth showed community pride and emphasized on their ability to make an impact on their community.
From there IML made positive progress toward Alamo, New Mexico and gave the Bloomfield High School some of our Inspiration...
Our next stop for the INSPIRE Project is Camp Verde! Great things are happening with this project of positive progression. We invite you to email us to learn more on how to bring this movement to your community!

Introducing a NATIONWIDE Initiative
Perhaps one of the greatest joys of summertime is seeing the presence of youth spending their time enjoying sunshine. Our young people have great opportunities during the summer months to put their work, life, and recreational skills in place through many platforms throughout reservation, villages, and communities. We are excited to bring an amazing opportunity for them beginning August 2009.
Throughout the summer of 2009, we at Inspire. Motivate. Lead. have placed effort into assuring the quality of life skills development for our youth. On many levels, we involve ourselves in communities providing conscious outreach by using innovative youth connecting tools. In reaching over 24 Indigenous nations this year, we are excited to bring Indian Country a promising initiative which will spark and re-direct the creative outlets of our young people!
On August 19, 2009, The INSPIRE Project will be launched focusing on the relevant nature of youth art movements. Hosted by the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe, The INSPIRE Project is a nationwide project focusing on the urban art forms of community building which develop a catalyst for youth progress. IML is forming this nationwide initiative to address the social and creative responsibility of graffiti education. We invite you to email us to learn more on how to bring this movement to your community!
Thank you again for all the energy and effort you set forth to contribute positive progression toward the lives of young people! You are needed!
Look forward to hearing from you!

Inspiration right into February...
Greetings to you!
Inspire. Motivate. Lead. takes a moment to thank you for the support and vision you have to create greatness for the people! We each do our part to contribute to the progress and wisdom of our self-reliance. You are not overlooked, and your efforts are noticed.
This month, IML shared bursts of energy through educational workshops at the Tiisyaakin Residential Hall in Northern Arizona. We developed a one day session focusing on self-development while redefining the elements of pride and progress. The 120 student body engaged in a full day of interaction, and visionary self-empowerment tools. Please visit our photo journal to see more:
IML Photo JournalLast week, we journeyed to Los Angeles, California to support our wonderful urban native youth across the cities of Southern California. The Los Angeles County Children's Planning Council is providing amazing opportunities for our youth and we are happy to be a part of its vision.
Continue to stay updated on our upcoming projects as we move on to creating more avenues of growth and vision for youth leadership.
Happy Valentine’s Day! And may everything you encounter be filled with love!
